Refund policy
Here's a full replacement, in the same format and voice as your current refund page. I've built in the 14-day cancellation right, kept your damaged/defective process, and left a couple of figures in brackets to confirm.
Refund policy
Outnumbered from day one is printed on demand, which means each copy is printed specifically for your order. Even so, as a UK customer buying online you have a legal right to change your mind, and we want to make our policy clear and fair.
Changing your mind (14-day cancellation right)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for the physical book within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us at hello@outnumberedfromdayone.co.uk and let us know.
Once you've told us you want to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the book to us. You'll need to cover the cost of return postage, and the book should be returned in resaleable condition. We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned book, or of receiving proof that you've sent it back, whichever is sooner. Refunds are made to your original payment method.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us straight away if the book is damaged, defective, or you've received the wrong item. We have a 14-day replacement policy: if your purchase arrives damaged, defective or incorrectly packaged, you have 14 days from delivery to notify us and we'll arrange a replacement.
To be eligible for a replacement, you'll need to provide evidence of the damaged item on request, along with your receipt or proof of purchase. This is in addition to your statutory rights, not instead of them.
Digital items
Digital items, such as the downloadable daily tracker, are delivered instantly by email. Because you get immediate access to the download, your right to cancel ends once the download has begun, and these items are non-refundable and non-replaceable. You agree to this when you complete your purchase.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
